He retired from Kirloskar Cummins Limited in 1984 as the Executive Vice President and began his new venture Poona Couplings Pvt. Ltd. later the same year. The manufacturing facility commenced production in 1986 in a Joint Venture with Holset Engineering Company Limited, United Kingdom. The vision was to develop and cater to the entire range of couplings for all industrial applications and power transmission for electric and diesel drives.
He practiced financial discipline that makes Poona Couplings a debt free company. He has been the backbone, pillar of strength and a pool of knowledge in the organization. His focus on achieving excellence has gained us a lot of credentials.
